Good afternoon (or morning) everyone. It's great to see people posting regular notices here. I just wanted to say, I have updated the Commander's Desk. We will be getting real web hosting soon, no adverts and very little downtime (hopefully). This will be in 2 weeks or so, I'm away all next week after the clan war. When I return, I will get us some real hosting. So, thoughts on the domain name would be appreciated. The actual name isn't too expensive, a .com is around £6 a year more than a .co.uk, so it doesn't matter. I was thinking darkblade-clan.com or darkbladeclan.com, but suggestions and thoughts on this or any subject are always welcome. Get in touch either on the forum, or my contact details are on the Administration page. Keep practising for the upcoming clan war, sonofchaos' suggestion below is a good one - buddy up with people in your time zone to practice. Look forward to seeing you on the battlefield, anyway!

Good day everyone, I just want to post a couple thoughts on my ideas for how we should train. I have been thinking that since we have a hard time meeting online, then perhaps we should be setting up squads that are grouped by time zone so that we can better train and be prepared for upcoming battles. I would appreciate any thoughts we have on the idea and you can either post on the team forum or e-mail me at adam_matterrazzi@hotmail.co.uk. Thanks for reading guys.

Please be advised gentlemen, Calum and I have sent out notices to all clan members via e-mail, so be sure to check you inboxes for those messages. Also, We have a war coming up this weekend, and if you are unable to attend, we would appreciate everyone giving us notice so we can accommodate for the loss. I haven't got much news for this week, other than I`ve been playing a lot and dying a lot, lol, but hopefully that will turn around. I`m trying to keep the site as up to date as possible, expect a post from Calum in the near future, both in the news and a new notice on the Commander's Desk.

If you hadn't noticed already, Dark Blade has a new look, one that hopefully people will find most appealing and will give us a good base of operations. CalumH and myself have been working hard to get this web site up and running so that we can begin posting any upcoming events and allow people to come here and keep in contact, especially considering others like myself are on completely different time zones and it is hard to find one another in real time. If anyone has any questions, please visit the administration area and there is a list of contact information for [DB]CalumH and myself, [DB]Zer0factor.

Hopefully we will be getting our own game server on EA Games, unfortunately it is rather expensive and the clan does not currently have the funding. And perhaps, if we do actually get enough people involved in this community, we will be able to support more games and provide more gaming servers. If anyone would like to donate, please contact administration and we will gladly give you the information to do so.
